Western Ave. as well.  Communities surrounding Vermont Harbor cp-ad-best-homes-top-buys-socal-jinclude Leimert Park and Park Mesa to the west, Inglewood to the south, South Park is to the east, and Jefferson Park to the north.  Vermont Harbor may be considered to be a part the South Los Angeles area in general.  There are 9 public schools and 5 private schools serving the Vermont Harbor area, as well as several small public parks within easy walking distance for most of the neighborhood.  Residents can choose from a wide range of dining and shopping in the area or from any of the many exiting destinations found throughout Los Angeles.
